Medicine Buddha Prosperity Lamp

Like the Buddha’s wisdom shining through darkness, light offerings signify the awakening of one’s wisdom and the creation of infinite merits and good fortune.Individuals and companies can pray for good health, longevity, family bliss, prosperity and success through the offering of these Prosperity Lamps. Yearly offerings can be made at $50 and all lamps are displayed at the Multi-Purpose Hall in Metta Building.

Details for the Offering of Medicine Buddha Prosperity Lamps
    1. Annual payment for the offering of each Medicine Buddha Prosperity Lamp is $50.
    2. Renewals will commence from the current year’s Vesak Day to the following year’s Vesak Day.
    3. All Medicine Buddha Prosperity Lamps will be displayed at the Multi-Purpose Hall in Metta Building. The offering can be made either by an individual or organisation.
    4. We reserve the right to change any aspect of the offering scheme without prior notice, except the fee.
    5. All proceeds from the offering of the Medicine Buddha Prosperity Lamps will go towards the Metta Welfare Association Operations Fund.

 

Adoption of Medicine Buddha Images

Apart from praying for blessings and guidance, venerating and consecrating a Buddha image inspire one to cultivate divine qualities. Achieve immense merits when you adopt this gilded Medicine Buddha image which encases the Medicine Buddha Sutra and Arahat relics.Companies and individuals (up to five people, including names of the deceased) can adopt the image for $2,500 through installment. Applicable for tax-exemption, all proceeds will go towards the Metta Welfare Association Operations Fund.

Details for the Medicine Buddha Image Adoption Scheme
  1. The adoption fee for each Medicine Buddha image is $2,500 and it is entitled to tax-exemption.
  2. All adopted Medicine Buddha images will be displayed at the Multi-Purpose Hall in Metta Building.
  3. Adoptions can be made in the following ways:
  4. A maximum of five subscribers can adopt a single image.
  5. Adoption of images is also open to companies and organisations. Only one company / organisation is allowed in a single adoption.
  6. For transferral of merits, a maximum of five names – including the living and deceased – are allowed.
  7.  
    As according to points (a) to (c), relevant names will be written down and stored within the Buddha images for blessing purposes.
  8. Subscribers who choose to pay by instalments have to ensure that payment is made to Metta Welfare Association by the 8th day of each month. Otherwise, the buddha image will be put up for re-adoption at our discretion. In this case, prior payments that have been made will not be refunded and will be treated as donations to our Operations Fund.
  9. The Metta Welfare Association reserves the right to change the terms and conditions as well as other aspects of this scheme (with the exception of the adoption fee) without prior notice.
  10. All proceeds from the Medicine Buddha Image Adoption Scheme will go towards the Metta Welfare Association Operations Fund.
