Register for the Charity Walk
Let's walk together!
In view of the current COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019) situation, the Ministry of Health (MOH) had stepped up its risk assessment to DORSCON Orange. With this heightened risk and in consideration of the well-being of our carnival goers and participants, The Green Charity Carnival on 22 March 2020 will be postponed to 7 June 2020. Do visit our website https://www.metta.org.sg/mettacarnival/ and Facebook page for the latest updates.
If you have bought your carnival coupons, it will be valid on the new carnival date. If you have registered for our charity walk, no action will be needed as your walk registration will automatically be transferred to the new carnival date. We seek your understanding and look forward to your continued support. Thank you.

Metta Charity Carnival started in 1997 and it has since become a regular event for many of our staff, stallholders and the carnival goers. In Year 2020, Metta Charity Carnival rebranded as The Green Charity Carnival. It stands for “Eating Green, Living Green“. Raising funds for our clients and doing our part for the environment. The Green Charity Carnival by Metta Welfare Association aims to do its part in creating a sustainable green lifestyle through a fun family carnival for the young and old. Be spoilt for choice at our green carnival by “Eating Green and Living Green”. Vegetarianism is one of the best things you can do to stop climate change – it’s also delicious and loads of fun! Health is wealth. Join us for a 3km morning community walk at the The Green Charity Carnival around the Simei estate. Relieve those hunger pangs and thirst with a wide array of local and international vegetarian fare, shop for affordable deals at our bazaar and have loads of fun and games at our kids wonderland. Together, let’s advocate for a wholesome environment with pleasant scenic views and great recreational opportunities. We can enjoy a long and healthy life with low medical expenses and a sustainable environment for generations to come. The Green Carnival will be held at Metta School/ Metta Building on Sunday, 22 March 2020 and starts from 9am till 4pm. Reduce carbon footprints. Care for the community when you care for the planet.
