Rules & Regulations
Course
The tournament will be held at the Singapore Island Country Club, Island Course on Friday 22 July 2022.
Registration
All participants are to register at the Registration Counter between 10.30am to 12.00pm. Each participant will be presented with a scorecard and information booklet upon registration.
Lunch
Lunch will be served at the Island Ballroom 1 & 2 from 11.30am onwards.
Tee-Off Time
All participants shall assemble at their buggies by 12.30pm. The shotgun tee-off will be at 12.45pm onwards.
Group Photo
Group photo for each flight will be taken and photo will be sent via Whatsapp to golfers in the same flight. Photos without publicity consent will not be shared on our post-event coverage.
Conditions of Play
The competition shall consist of a single round of 18 holes in accordance with the Local Rules of Golf of The Singapore Island Country Club found at the back of the scorecard. All golfers must have their own valid insurance.
Format of Play
The competition shall be based on Stableford Scoring, Double Peoria System.
Division
There will only be one division and one set of division winners for the championship trophies.
Tee Boxes
The competition will commence by the way of a shot-gun start from all eighteen tee holes.
Process of Play
Golfers teeing off at the start of the front nine holes will proceed to the 10th hole upon completion of the 9th hole, while golfers teeing off at the start of the back nine holes will proceed to the 1st hole after completion of the 18th hole.
Slow Play
Slow or dangerous play will not be tolerated. Those who do not carry out these requirements will be automatically suspended if they disregard the first warning.
Lucky Draw
All golfers will be automatically entered into the lucky draw. Golfers can collect their prizes after the dinner reception. Top 3 prizes will be drawn on stage. Recipients must be present to receive the prize.
Dress Code
All golfers should be suitably attired when playing on the Club’s courses. Only soft spike golf shoes, collared t-shirts and proper tailored trousers/shorts are allowed during the game. No slippers or shorts are allowed during dinner.
Etiquette & Courtesy
Please follow The Singapore Island Country Club’s rules & regulations and proper etiquette while on the golf course.
Inclement Weather
Golfers must adhere to siren signals for lightning or heavy rain. The Organising Committee and Club reserves the right to close the course and stop play (temporarily/permanently) if it is considered unplayable or unsafe as a result of inclement weather or any unforeseen causes.
Courses Closure
In case of permanent closure of course because of lightning or extremely poor weather, the Organising Committee’s decision on the distribution of prizes shall be final.
Score Cards
At commencement of play, please exchange your score card with your marker and at the end of play, please hand in your completed score card with both player’s and marker’s signatures. Incorrect scores can result in disqualification of a player.
Final Decision
The Organising Committee has the right to make the final decision relating to the administration of the competition.
Safe Management Measures
- It will still be mandatory for all sports event participants to be fully vaccinated.
- Mask wearing is optional for outdoor settings and mandatory for indoor settings.
- Alternate lockers may be issued to ensure some form of physical distancing.
- Pre/post golf F&B / banquets at the Ballroom are now allowed. The after-golf prize presentation and/or entertainment activities will also be permitted.
