MAKE A WISH PROGRAMME – BY METTA MEDICAL CARE
Granting a wish for someone can have a huge impact on their lives. Through granting of wishes, we aim to create hope, happiness and comfort to our clients and to improve their quality of life.
The Make a Wish programme will grant wishes for clients under our Medica Care programme, namely, Hospice Care, Homecare and Day Rehabilitation Centre for the Elderly. Granting a wish can give our clients and their loved ones strength, hope, and optimism.
Your support towards our Make a Wish programme will make a positive impact to clients like 78-year-old Toh Yew Suan. Mdm Toh is a terminally ill patient who has lung cancer. To help her and her family create a happy memory, our hospice care team brought Mdm Toh to S.E.A. Aquarium in March this year. The family had fun at the outing. The lovely memories they created were also captured in photos. Mdm Toh passed away peacefully shortly after the visit to S.EA. Aquarium. Mdm Toh’s family was grateful to Metta’s hospice care team for fulfilling Mdm Toh’s last wish to do an outing with her family.
