Metta Charity Golf, an annual fund raising event started in 2000. This year, it was held on 22 July 2022 at Singapore Island Country Club (Island Course).

Due to the unforeseen weather, golfers were unable to tee off on that day. Nonetheless our golfers had a wonderful time catching up with one another. Everyone have enjoyed the performances by Metta School students during the dinner. We would like to thank all our golfers and sponsors who have participated in 23rd Metta Charity Golf 2022. Funds raised will be channel to support the development and enrichment of our welfare programmes and activities for our clients from the very young under 2 years old to the very senior at 103 years old, the infirm to the terminally ill in Singapore regardless of their races and religions to have a better quality of life.

We look forward to see everyone on the green again in May 2023!

Despite a rain check during the 23rd Metta Charity Golf on 22 July 2022, we were hearten by our golfers support to accommodate the new tee off dates. After the tabulation of scores from our golfers, we are pleased to announce the top 3 tournament winners!

  • Champion – Mr Raymond Chee
  • 1st Runner Up – Mr Sherwin Lim Thye Siang
  • 2nd Runner Up – Mr Azhar Bin Baksin

Winners were gifted with a trophy and pottery elephant paperweight handmade by our youths from the Youth Employment Support programme.

The tournament champion, Mr Raymond Chee also had his name engraved on the KK Teoh Memorial Shield. This shield was commissioned by Dr Teoh Tiong Ann in memory of his father, the late Mr KK Teoh who was Metta’s golf committee chairman.

Congratulations to all 3 tournament winners.
