Medium: Batik Painting x 3D printing

Blooming Heritage Tiles is a mixed media artwork by Jozie that celebrates Singapore’s heritage. The artwork combines colourful Peranakan inspired batik patterns with the Vanda Miss Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower.

Jozie hand painted the 3D printed tiles and batik pieces, adding texture and depth to the artwork. This piece brings together traditional Peranakan designs and the national flower to celebrate Singapore’s culture, history, and beauty.

About the artist

Jozie is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is kind and is always willing to assist anyone in need around her. She is also a huge fan of Mandarin classics! Jozie’s paintings are filled with her unique vivid and vibrant colors. She enjoys experimenting with various materials and making art and jewelry with Hama beads.
